Hi: I have a problem with my 1995 525 i BMW. auto transmission. When the car is cold the shifter selects easily however after driving for a few miles and bringing the car to a stop, trying to select either park or reverse the selector is very stiff. As a matter of fact selecting the entire range is difficult.
There is no problem while driving, the box selects easily over the entire power requirement,ie no slippage while driving.
The box is sealed ie no dip stick. Could it be that the oil is a bit low or that the filter is clogged?
