My passenger side seat motor is not working. The seat can't be adjusted(forword and back). I like to check the motor, but couldn't find a way to remove the back of the seat. Please advise how I can remove the back of passenger seat to access the motor?

The seat sled motor is underneath the seat and removal of the removal of the entire unit is in order.

Your problem is that the seat will not move, and the nuts that hold the seat in can not be removed unless the seat moves. it's sort of a Catch-22 if you've ever read that book. The solution is to move the seat by manually by turning the shaft that is normally driven by the seat motor. The bad news is that it is a very tedious operation because the shaft turns many times in moving the seat a small distance, but with patience, it can be done. Here is a picture showing the underside of the seat with an arrow pointing to the motor that moves the seat forwards and back. Good Luck Dr. Loot's Assistant
