about a year ago I broke 2 rocker arms from this 525I and because it had several other problems I put it on 4 jack stands and began the work. When I got down to it I found I had to replace a rear main seal, Transmission pan gasket, drive shaft (complete), engine oil pan gasket, head gasket set, valve guide seals, water pump, thermostat, timing belt, and several other odds and ends. It took quite allot of time because funds were limited. I have finally gotten it all back together but to my shagrin there are parts of my instrument clucter that does not work now. The temp guage, Tachometer, self test mode, fuel guage and the light for the LOW BRAKE FLUID is on. I have tested the brake fluid switch and it is good. I have checked all fuses and relays and they are good also. I can't help but wonder if maybe I left an electrical connector disconnected but I cannot find one that is disconnected. Do you have any ideas as to where the connector might be that controls those items or am I going about this all wrong?
