Dead Radio

I have a 1995 BMW 525i with 195,000 miles and it is a 6 cyl. . I left my key turned on and the battery went dead. Now my radio will not work. What has happened.

there is a code that is needed. it is available from the dealer. you will need to get the serial # from the back of the radio and give it to the dealer, they will be able to get you your radio code. remember to write this code down someplace you can refer to it. some dealers will request a fee as they now have to file a PUMA case for radio codes.

i have the same exact problem. i went to the dealer, got the code and entered it.. the radio still wont work and the dealer told me to drive around for one hour. rofl

i drove for five! gas $ much!?

i need help!

if you entered the correct code in the correct sequence
and there is still no joy, replace the radio.
the after market is your world.
