E34 525i Touring 1991-12.
All of a sudden i can depress the brake pedal 2-3"'.
I think it doesn't go soft ,nevertheless i tried to bleed the system for air at the rear brakes , not much came out ( no air ,little brake fluid).
I had to do an emergency brake manoeuvre ,which was an unexpected test, the abs kicked in a little early, the car stopped , little later than i would expect, maybe as if the rear brakes did not do very much.(???)
The master brake cylinder-booster unit is lucas-girling.
Would it do to suppose it is faulty and replace it , or do i have to fear other causes (abs pump , or whatever.)
