they told me I need front brakes

I purchased this car with 40000 miles on it, it has a extended warranty. When i start it after driving a while the motor makes 2-3 knocks, but not all the time, I brought it back to dealer they fixed it but they told me I need front brakes can you help?

Also below i will attach the specific repair instructions for your vehicle so you can see if it a repair you would want to carry out yourself.

The first 7 are for the brake pads and the last 3 the brake rotors.
