2003 BMW 330 outside temperature stuck at 122F

I had an accident two weeks ago where the car slipped and hit the curb on the right side, as soon as i I hit the curb the outside temperature jumpeed to 122F, I thought the sensor gone bad, i bought a new one and replaced it but that still didnt solve the problem. Is ther a reset bottom or something?
