2 days ago, on 1 st gear, the car was like loosing power. It looked like the car was chooking so i had to give more gas in order to keep it going,but on 2nd,3rd and so on no problem. There also was a burned smell. The car is presently back to normal. This also happend 1 month ago but went back to normal after.

Lack of acceleration,chugging,hesitating,bogging etc. could be caused by one of the following below:

Possibilities: Inspect and test all the following listed below:

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Crankshaft position sensor
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
False air leakage.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard it.
