My 94 BMW 325IS is emitting a white or grey smoke after cold startups. It only starts when i get on the main road and get on it. The smoke goes away after about a minute or two at the most. I just had the head gasket, water pump, thermostat, radiator replaced last year. The car never overheated before the head gasket.I only replaced all the other parts as cheap insurance to try to keep the car from overheating. If this was a head gasket or cracked head..would the smoke go away altogether like that? I know it all goes away because I've had my friend follow me alot to check it and it only lasts a few mins. COuld it be some unburned fuel or oil?The coolant level doesnt seem to drop and the oil level doesnt seem to drop either.
