2005 BMW 325 Engine Size unknown Two Wheel Drive Automatic 55000 miles

I recently had Continental tires put on my car - which has the sports package. The driver rear tire wore out a couple months ago. The passenger rear tire just wore through to expose the wires (according to the dealership). They aligned the car and said "Both front cambers slightly out" - Would this cause the back tires to wear? I just don't know if it was the alignment or the tires.
