I've looked everywhere and can't find the plugs on my car. I'd really like to check them before spending $300 on a new fuel pump.

The plugs are under the cover that says BMW on top of the motor, you will need to remove the coils as well. What does spark plugs and a fuel pump have to do with each other? If the fuel pump is bad, looking at the plugs aint gonna change that.

The car started sputtering and then died, now it won't fire at all. I checked the valve on the injector bar and it's releasing a small amount of air but no gas, which makes me believe it's the fuel pump. But, I'd like to check the plugs just to eliminate them.
Is this logic wrong?
