I have a 1995 BMW 325is that has a cooling problem. While driving on the freeway, it is fine. After driving around town a little bit, it overheats. I believe the cause to be the fan clutch. Given the miles on this car, it could certainly need replacing. Doesn't this sound like a typical symptom of a bad fan clutch? Also, I have a new fan clutch to install. The real question is, how do you get the old one off! I have the 32mm wrench needed. How do I keep the engine from turning while trying to loosen the fan clutch? It isn't reverse threads is it?
Thank you for any help!
