I have a 1995 BMW 325is that needs a new cylinder head gasket. As a result, I need to remove the cam sprockets to allow removal of the cylinder head. My question is concerning the 4 bolts/screws that hold the cam sprockets onto the cams. They are an unusual bolt/screw. Is there a special tool needed to remove those bolts/screws? If that special tool cannot be obtained, is there an alternative method to remove them?

Thank you very much for any help you can give!

They are Torx bolts and they do require a special socket and it is available from most all tool suppliers.
