If my memory is correct, the BMW Inspection I or Inspection II includes replacing the "cabin air filter". At the age of the car and with the economy being what it is, I have been doing more of the regular maintenance myself. Can I change the cabin air filter? If it is not too difficult how do I do it?
At the moment I have a leaf stuck in the heater fan area that is making a lot of noise. How do I access the fan area to remove the leaf?

Access through the passenger footwell area for the filter and the leaf can be pulled out too. I usually take the glove box out to make it easier.
