Hi when i have the car in parking and i bring op the rpm to 3500 the transmission warning light comes on and i pot in gear the car has very poor acceleration.When shot off and re start and pot in gear with out bringing the rpm up its fine.what is my problem?

This seems like a transmission issue, the issue might be best resolved with a trip to your BMW technician. Look for fault codes and inspect for proper fluid level and condition. Some of the faults those systems have is a need for electronic updates, which in this case might mean replacement of the force motor driver chip inside the tranny control module. It could also be something internally at fault, something I am not prepared to diagnose from cyberspace. ♥
