Hello, I hope all is well. My car recently started reving a little while in park or at a red light. I'm not hitting the gas at all and the rpms are moving. Based on the info gathered so far it looks like I may need to replace the idle air control valve. Does this sound accurate? I have a 93' BMW 325i, with 165k, and original engine and everything. If so how much would that cost and is their any other serious problem that it could be besides the IACV. Thank you, much appreciated. -Mike-

It may just need cleaning, there are also some possible vacuum lines that could be degraded, go to Realoem.com for the exploded views.
