93 BMW 325i, Inline V6 engine
The car will not turn over. It revs when you turn the key
Starter Fluid test did not work, seems to be no spark.
I checked the following items Good:
Fuel pump/ filter
starter
alternator
battery
all lines
oil
Plug/ Wires
I was told I needed to replace the Crank-Shaft Positioning Sensor, I need to know how to replace this sensor and another option if this is not the problem.

REMOVE AND INSTALL

Unscrew oil pipe from Variable Camshaft Control (VANOS ) control unit. Unscrew bolts. Remove ground tape (1) and suspension lug.

Remove impulse sensor.

Remove electric lead duct.

Mark plug (3) on wire harness and disconnect it. Reinstall in reverse order. NOTE: When reinstalling oil pipe for VANOS control unit, check seals and replace if necessary. Ensure that the lead from the impulse sensor does not contact the water pump drive gear after assembly.
