I recently had to replace my cooling pump. Before this had happen I had blowing heat. The one thing also to note at that time was the heat was cooler at idle and when I would drive it was perfect. Now after I changed the pump the heat is pretty much nonexistant. The temp is right in the middle and seems to be working fine. I have used a method of bleeding the system by removing the bleeder screw and the fill tube cap and filled up the tube till water came out of the bleeder. Then closed up both and then ran till warm. Then let it cool down and added any that was needed. No heat. I get a little when reved up but not very warm. My question is whats next? do I need to bleed it more? Am I doing the bleeding wrong? I probably havent a good 50/50 mix more water than antifreeze, could that be it? Or heater core issues? I also replaced the thermostat and made no difference.
