1987 BMW 325 cracked oil pan lost oil fixed wont start

hi, i hit rock and broke oil pan, los6t all oil. immediately turned veh. off. ive replaced pan,oil,filter,gasket??? the rig turns over has no warning lights, fires but doesnt want to start! am i missing a safety or reset or something? ive dumped cash into new cap,coil, timing belt, ive kinda checked fuses and relays but im stuck and need some help!! please any ideas or info would gr8tly be appreciated.
