My car will crank and start but then die out like its not getting fuel which its not the car will run on starting fluid but i dont wanna do it for too long in case i hurt something in the car. But i have tested the injectors and they will pusle with a pulse tester from matco and they are spraying fuel but i test the electrical current with a test light and both wires are hot??? so i guess my injectors are grounding themselves somewhere else i used the bentley manual and checked and cleaned the ground connections. ive asked my dad who has worked on cars for 20+ years ive worked on cars 10+ years and we asked a import shop who my dad went to school with he races audi cars. they have given me some ideas but without them looking at it they probably wont be able to tell me exactally ive slowly narrowed it down to the injector issue. but not the injectors themselves. i dont know if youve ever heard of this problem before but i really need some help :( the car has sat about 6 years but it starts and fires just fine ive changed oil and other stuff you should change. thanks for any help,
Nick

Check the fuel pressure and delivery. Is there a full tank? Lets rule out the fuel pump and then we can move on.

thanks for your reply
I have checked the fuel pressure it is in spec per the bentley manual. i dont have a full tank of gas in it but i pumped all the old gas out and put in 6gal and a can of seafoam in the tank. i also changed the fuel filter. i took the fuel line off at the T where it splits to the cold start valve and the fuel rail i get plenty of fuel to the T fitting and my injectors are getting fuel to them
