When I put on my brakes, weather in park, reverse or drive - my left reverse light comes on.

When I put the car in reverse and take my foot off the brake, the reverse light stays on and the brake light goes out as it is suppose to.

Check for a harness issue at the tail lamp assemblies, disconnect the electrical connectors. Also check for shorted or broken wires in the umbilical for the wiring in the trunk lid, just peel the rubber umbilical out and if there are broken wires, you will see.
