Noises problem

hello, i own a bmw 323 ci on a t plate 1999, ive had the car for a couple of years with no problems, i got in the car after work yesterday and noticed a very very light knocking sound coming from the rear of the car when i pull of mostly, the knocking sound is very quite and difficult to tell where exactly its coming from, hope you can help thanks.
