94 BMW 318is, 140k miles, 1.8 Liter engine (4 cylinder). When checking spark plugs, noticed that the #3 plug had oil on the threads and a small pool of oil where the plug sets in the head. Plug looks fine with no oil on the terminals and no noticealble degradation in performance, but the problem continues after cleaning the oil from the plug. All other plugs do not have the same problem. Suspect that the piston rings need to be replaced.
