Hi guys,
Over the last 6 months or so, my 318 has developed quite a loud mettalic sqweak coming from the rear of the car. It is so loud now, I can hear it with the roof down.
I have had into my dealer, David Holmes of Manchester, and they believed it to be the piston for the boot which they replaced. However the problem returned so I went back. They then said that it was the suspension. Again, it didnt work so I gave up with them.
The sound is almost like a part is lose and is rubbing on a bolt perhaps.
I am wondering if it is maybe the exhaust?
