could you please tell me if there is a point in the engine that i could jump start my bmw as my battery has went flat and i can not open the boot.

under the hood in the engine compartment there should be a red plastic cover with a plus sign on .. under this is a live point .. earth lead to the engine or i use the bolt's on the suspension top
