I boubght a2nd hand BMW e36. After a month the keytransmitter of central locking start to work intermittend. Sometimes it locks and sometimes not By mistakes the alarm was activated and I opened the door manually. The alarm went off and the warning light at gear lever start flashinging. The key TX could not de activate the alarm. So I remove the battery cable to stop the alarm. Needless to to there is now no central locking or alarm. I dont have a owners manual.
1. How can I test that the key TX is sending. Batteries is ok.
2.How do I reset the alarm. (procedure like opening boot etc.)
