I can't figure out how to remove the water pump. I'm in the process of replacing the radiator (after 2 over-heating events!), having already replaced the thermostat after the first overheating. I thought of completing the job by replacing the waterpump as well to be sure I won't have a third event. After releasing the serpentine belt and the 4 screws of the pully I'm lost as to how remove the clutch fan hub, which will then allow the pully to come off which will then allow access to the water pump screws. Please help.

I'm not a certified mechanic but personally maintained my 95' BMW 318i. I always go to this site for reference: <https://www.2carpros.com/articles/mitchell1eautorepair-car-repair-manuals

Thanks for the link, I'll make use of it. My immediate problem at the time was the removal of the clutch fan... now I know it has left thread, the rest has been easy.
