1990 BMW 318 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

I am wondering what will make the fuse blow for the heater after the car is started for a few seconds?

A fan motor can pull too much current and blow the fuse, what is the rating of the fuse?

It is a 10 amp but we but a 35 amp in there and it worked for about 3 weeks.
