Engine Mechanical problem
1984 BMW 318i 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Standard
I recently helped a brother remove and reinstall the head on his car. After we took the head off, he had a machine shop resurfaced it, they also replaced some valves. After we replaced the head and in the process of setting the timing, I noticed several things, some water was coming from the intake side, then we realized some of the bolts were not tightened, so we tightened them. After turning the engine over several times, using a compression tester we got no compression from any of the cylinders. Next I took of the valve cover to make sure everything was OK, there I found that the exhaust valve rocker arms for cylinder 3 and 4 was broken off. What do you believe went wrong?
