Electrical problem
1984 BMW 318 4 cyl Manual 157397 miles

I have a 84 318i that runs perfect. I havent drove it in 2 weeks because of a vacation I took. Now that I am back, the turn signals dont work but the hazard lights work, any idea, plus the wipers wont work either.

turn signal (multi function) switch most likely the culprit, first check fuses and signal flasher relay

The wipers may need the wiper relay to be replaced, its the long black rectangular plug in inside the fuse box.

thank you, you have been very helpful. I checked all the fuses and the are good, so since they still dont work, where wold the turn signal switch be located?

the turn signal switch is the switch you use to operate the signals on and off

well i have checked the relay and its clicks and works when i turn on the hazards & all fuses are good, the high beams work and they are connected to the turn signal switch as well, so with those working and the signals not working, is the problem most likely the signal switch?
