Engine Cooling problem

my BMW is leaving puddles behind and showes over heating I've changed the valve cover gasket and it's still there. I add 1 quart of oil every 2 days and oil guage reads ok car runs good no smoke as long as I keep oil its fine but I need to fix it WHAT IS M Y PROBLEM.
