Blue smoke and vibration after installing catch can

So by catch can, I assume you are talking about the oil catchment system that goes before the PCV and prevents oil from entering the intake?

What system did you install? What was the brand and part number and I will look it up so that we can get on the same page about what you installed.

Next if this was not doing this prior then we need to see if you installed it correctly. Clearly you have oil going through the exhaust so we have to find where the oil is coming from. Have you pulled the intake off and checked to see if there is oil in there?

I want to tell you that when there was blue smoke from the exhaust, I opened up the oil filler cap to check if there is oil back pressure but the most strange thing was the air pressure was there when i opened the oil filler cap. So i removed the whole system and bring it back to factory setting and now there is no smoke nor air pressure in valve cover.

This oil catch can I used. The reviews were pretty much good.

The only thing I can think is if the lines were installed in the wrong direction. Meaning they were reversed. Basically there is an inlet and outlet of this system and I guess that could cause an issue.

What I would suggest at this point is call the manufacturer of that catch can and ask if they have reports of this. Clearly if you put it inline of the PCV and routed the line coming from the valve cover to the inlet, and the outlet going to the intake, then I just can't explain it.
