I'm pretty sure my car has a blown head gasket. I have oil in my water but I don't have water in my oil. Now I know my best bet is to just replace the head gasket but I'm not able to do that right now. So my question is, if I put a gasket sealer in should it be one for the oil or the radiator? I figure because its oil in my water and not the other way around that if I put the sealer in my radiator wouldn't it just cause me more problems?

Hello, I'm Danny.

Yes, putting in additives tend to cause more problems than fix.We can give you repair guides if you and helpers feel confident in making the repair yourself. Also, Most shops do offer head gasket specials for a decent price.I would suggest not to put additives in.You will charged more labor for cleaning-especially the radiator and possible damage to additional parts.Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
