Taillight causing u101 engine code. Taillights work fine but blowing another fuse out in TCM.

Hi,
That is an odd one. By chance, is that a U0101? If it is, then we have communication between the PCM and the TCM. Why it is happening when you apply the brakes is a question at this point.
Do me a favor. Confirm I have the correct code. If I do, I can look into it further and provide some diagnostics for you.
