Blowing fuses and fuel pump is always on?

Okay guys. I just put a newer motor in my truck listed above k1500. Same exact motor as the one that came out. Hooked the battery up and the fuel pump immediately came on. Then when I turned the key fuse ign A popped. I tried another fuse and it popped again. I’ve been all over this motor checking grounds and looking to make sure wires are not smashed. Can anybody tell me what I’ve got going on?

I would make sure the wiring harness is not caught between the engine block and bell housing which is common. The IGN-A fuse feeds the starter relay and ignition switch, neutral safety switch, transmission controls etc. Here is a wiring diagram so you can see all that it feeds, check each one to make sure the wires are not grounded. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what you find.
