Blowing fuse number fifteen

Well that means that there is a large electrical short somewhere on that circuit. Fuse 15 appears to protect the alternator, vehicle speed sensor, Transmission control module, the evap system purge vent valve, and the oxygen sensors.

A slightly educated guess, from experience, would be to say to check the vehicle speed sensor first. Occasionally, on older vehicles, animals will build a nest around there and chew up some of the wiring, causing a short circuit condition. Usually, with a flashlight, you can poke around and see what is going on.

So here is the first test. Open the hood. Using the attached diagram, find the vehicle speed sensor and trace its wiring as much as possible. Look for any obvious problems. If you see nothing, unplug the sensor itself, and turn the key on and see if the fuse blows again. If the fuse does not blow, then you have identified that the sensor is the problem.

Also, is the service engine light on by chance? If so, get it scanned at the local auto parts store and get the code number(s) and post them here.

I tried that it did not work I found a yellow with a red line wire that was not hooked up to anything coming from under the intake do not know where it goes.

Wait, what did you try? And an unhooked wire is not going to cause the fuse to blow. We can try and figure that out, but it is not going to solve your problem.
