I replaced my blower motor resistor with a Dorman 973-025 in August. It stopped working last night. Meaning, I got in my truck to drive last night and the feet vent was on 3. No air coming out, I put it on 4 and it worked. I was like what the hell lmao, I just replaced that. Do you think it's a bad blower motor? Is there anything I can do to try and get it to work?
Also, not sure if any of this is relevant. I had it on full heat last night, because it was chilly. It was blowing cold air for about 15-20 minutes before it got warm. Also, about 20 minutes into the drive, 1, 2, and 3 setting started blowing air very very lightly. It was not proper, as it was very clear it wasn't nearly hard enough to be right pressure of air. 1,2, and 3 were blowing the same speed very lightly warm air, and the main reason I even realized it started was the heat on my feet suddenly. So, is this relevant? I don't know
Let me know what y'all think
I got a refund on it because I told Amazon it was defective, I will buy a new one if I have to but if anybody could give me any tips or any other possible reasons I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you guys,
hope you have a great day
