Blower motor no high speed?

Blower motor blows 50-amp maxi fuse when put on high speed even with the blower motor disconnected. Replaced relay and blower resistor and checked the blower motor with jumper to battery.

Hi,

Does the fuse fail if you remove the relay? Power from the 50-amp fuse goes to the relay, but it isn't used until the relay primary circuit is completed. So, if it fails with the relay removed, the short is in the wire between the relay and the fuse.

I attached the wiring schematic below.
