Blower Motor comes on after key is off

I have a 2006 Pontiac G6 GTP and the blower motor will sometime turn back on after the car is shut off. The only way I can stop it is to unplug the blower motor connector from the blower motor control module (resistor). The resistor is the climate control style and I have changed it twice and the problem persists. I saw bulletin #05-01-39-001A for the same problem but for 2004-2005 Grand Prix and 2005 Buick Allure to install a capacitor, but does not mention a 06 G6. If this is the necessary repair where do you purchase the J-38125 Terminal repair kit? Thank you!

Since your car is not in the covered in the bulletin we have to do some Testing do you have a multi meter to do some testing?

So you have auto climate control?If so here is the problem I was following the trouble tree for fqn on with blower motor controls off.The first thing they want you to do is use a professional non diyer scan tool that can read live ac control data.they want you to look and see if the blower motor pluse width modulation parameter is near the specified value of 0 percent with the blower motor off.This has to be checked when its acting up.then depending on the the answer to that question what step to go to next . Unfortunately modern cars have a lot of computers for everything.

Sorry its been so long...I do have the auto climate control and I finally had a friend of mine check blower motor pulse width modulation parameter and he advised me that specified value was not near zero when the blower is coming on with the key off. The problem still persists and he recommended changing the blower motor resistor again or to change the A/C control unit. I greatly appreciate any input on what you suspect the problem is. Thank you.
