I have no heat, and air only blows out of vents. I replaced the HVAC control knobs and nothing changed, when I turn the knobs nothing happens. What do I do?

Sounds like you need to check the fuses and power and grounds to the controls. Being that either the blend door or mode doors are being controlled that is where I would start. Also look at the temperature blend door actuator here is a guide to walk you though the steps with the location for your car below.

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know what happens.

Prior to part replacement, re-calibrate HVAC actuator. Disconnecting negative battery cable for 60 seconds.

This will automatically initiate software calibration procedure.

Removal & Installation

1. Disconnect negative battery cable then remove floor console. Remove rear heat ducts. Remove the HVAC housing. See HVAC HOUSING .
2. Disconnect electrical connection. Remove actuator retainer screws and pull actuator straight down. See Fig. 17 . Note actuator shaft position for installation reference.
3. Install blend door actuator on the housing, making sure shaft spline is positioned properly with cam. See Fig. 18 . Install and tighten actuator mounting then connect wire harness connector to actuator.
4. Install HVAC housing. See HVAC HOUSING . Install rear heat ducts then install floor console. Connect negative battery cable.

Please let us know what happens so it will help others.

Can anybody tell me where the mode blend door actuator is? I am only getting air, hot or cold, from the defrost and floor. None from vents. Already trouble shot control module, have dash and everything else taken apart, just not sure where the actuator is. Thanks!

Yes, that is an ex place to help with fixit problems. You are 100% correct and IF thank you very much. I forgot to even look there. Why, I have no idea. I wasn't able to find my actual car but they had a video of one close enough to the make and model and the year. I should be ok now. And thanks again, I'll be sure to donate double next time which will be this weekend I'm sure. Thanks again!
