I can hear a motor running when key is on partially opening the vent door and closing over and over never stopping. Heater/AC off.

Hi,

Most likely the gear is bad in the actuator. Have you tried replacing it?

The gears in the actuator are plastic. The teeth can often times break.

Let me know. Also, let me know if it is related to a specific side of the vehicle (passenger or driver).

I will check out the actuator. It's the passenger side.
