Where is the Blend Door actuator located?

Okay, here is the location and how to replace the blend door actuator on the drivers side. Also, this video shows you how to service the system so you can see what needs to be done.

O boy, it says you need to remove the HVAC housing to replace this part, but you might be able to get in there and sneak the mounting screws out to remove and replace the actuator. It looks like it is in the front of the HVAC plenum box. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response.

So, I checked the actuator on the driver side. It actually controls the vents. I had someone change the vent settings while I watched and it’s operating. I seen in another post that the actuator that controls the temp for the driver side is below the glove compartment between the floor vent and the hvac unit. That one does not move at all when you change any of the settings and it is where I would hear the couple clicks when it would kick in periodically. Now there’s no sound from it and no movement.

There is a cover over the actuator that I believe has three screws in it but I can only see two. Not sure the third is accessible without having to remove the hvac completely or partially just to gain access to the third screw. Images attached.

Yep, you may need to remove the air ducting in front of the actuator. If it is not moving no matter what setting you have the HVAC on it looks like the actuator is no good. You may need a small mirror on a stick to see where the other mounting screw is. Thanks for the images they help.
