Where is the Blend actuator located?

Hi,

Do you have automatic climate control or is it manually controlled? Also, is it the left or right side that causes problems?

The actuator on a manual climate control is under the dash on the passenger side. I attached directions below. If you have something different, let me know.

I have an automatic climate control. And it’s the driver’s side that is blowing hot air.

The actuator is mounted to the left side of the HVAC box. See pic 1. Note the arrow on the lower right side of the pic. That points toward the front of the vehicle.

I have a feeling you may not like what has to be done to replace it. The brake pedal and bracket need to be removed first. Ugh! I have no idea why they design things like this. To remove the pedal, the throttle needs to be removed and the steering intermediate shaft under the dash. Before starting this, it is my recommendation to make sure the key is off and then disconnect the negative battery terminal for at least 30 minutes before starting.

Regardless, I attached the directions below. I added the brake pedal removal first which includes all the other steps.
