Hello,

My bleeder housing for my coolant system broke off at where the top hose meets the coolant tank and the top of the bleeder housing. it snapped right off and took the spouts that connect to the hose with it. I can't afford the repair right this second so I am wondering if it is possible to cap off the hose outlet and the hole in the coolant tank where the hose normally would connect for the time being? ( A few days) i know I will likely lose coolant but I need to get to work.

I have to be honest, I don't see a resolve without replacing. Can you tell me which side has actually broken? In both pics, I see the hose but not what actually broke. Is it broken at the overflow bottle or the bleeder housing?

Honestly, it needs repaired before driving it. The system will build pressure and blow off anything you try to use trying to plug it. Also, I believe that is a return to the overflow, so it is needed.

Please let me know if I can help. I wish I had a better answer, but if you overheat the engine, you will have more problems. I can provide directions for you when replacing the parts, so let me know.

Take care,

Joe
