I noticed the check engine light come on, the car began to use more gasoline than before, bringing out black smoke and i visited a mechanic. He said i should change the Electrical Control Unit, which i did, but the light was still on. i changed the injector fuel sprayers and the MAP sensor too, but the light is still on. i changed the ECU again, the light went off but black smoke is still coming out of the exhaust. I have tried to check if the car has any Oxygen Sensor, but could not find.
What can i do?

Hi Goksy. Can you post the trouble codes you got from the check engine light? That should give us a clue to better guide you.

Hello, I'm Danny.

Having the trouble codes would help more in diagnosing your black smoke issue. If you don't have access to a code reader or scanner most local auto parts stores have a tool loaner program and can rent you one. Here is a tutorial showing what is involved for reading codes:

Also, Some places like AutoZone auto parts will check codes for free.Hope this helps and thanks for using 2carPros.
