Good day to you all.

What is the best strategy for allowing the new engine to set?

I am about to get my Dodge Raider back on the streets after a complete engine overhaul (new pistons and rings, camshaft and timing gears /band, crankshaft metals, all seals; re-furbished block, head, timing cover and crankshaft).

I know that these engines are powerful, long-lasting, reliable and that, well taken care of, they would last close to eternity (or a few months under).

If there is info you recommend I read, please let me know.

Thank you for your advise.

I'm sorry for the confusion.

When I say "allow the engine to set", I mean "break-in".

What is the best strategy for breaking in the B2200 carb SR5 engine?

Thank you.
