Blend door actuator location

Good afternoon,

You do not have a blend door actuator. You have a cable that controls the temperature.

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Disengage the center bezel from the instrument panel to gain access to the back of the A/C-heater control See: Dashboard / Instrument Panel > Removal and Replacement > Center Bezel.
3. Disconnect the temperature control cable from the A/C-heater control See: Control Assembly, HVAC > Removal and Replacement > A/C and Heater Control - Removal.
4. Remove the steering column opening cover See: Dashboard / Instrument Panel > Removal and Replacement > Steering Column Opening Cover - Removal.
5. Remove the screw (1) that secures the temperature control cable (2) to the left side of the HVAC air distribution housing (3).
6. Disconnect the temperature control cable from the blend door pivot lever (4) and remove the cable from the vehicle.

My A/C isn’t working just blowing out hot air. Do you know what the problem might be? Some told me blend door.

Okay, does the compressor engage when you turn it on?

Do you have gauges to test the pressure?

I have no gauges, and when I turn it on it just clicks on and off repeatedly. I did put Freon in it cause it was low. And when I turned the A/C on it did same thing but the A/C line got real cold.

Okay, I still need those readings to see the pressures.
