Should I have the pulley replaced only or the tension-er assembly? What does my car have? Thank you

Good afternoon.

Replace the belt and the tension-er. The pulley is part of the tension-er.

Roy

REMOVAL
1. Remove serpentine belt.
2. Remove tension-er bolt then tension-er.

INSTALLATION
1. Install tension-er.
2. Install tension-er bolt and torque to 54 N.m (40 lb. ft.).
3. Install serpentine belt.

I need more help. I called an auto parts store and he ask did I want the pulley only because it would be cheaper and the pulley could be put on the tension-er. Is he right?
