The two seem to be one or two threads off from the other pullies

Well I would not think both would be off that would be strange but if I had to guess I would thing your balancer is coming apart. There is a rubbed peace in the balancer that's sometimes wears out you can see it if you look close the balancer should be flat on the outside with no lip anywhere.
