Belt installation

How do I get belt on? I took out spacer, it is supercharged. I know how to route but a bracket is in way for routing belt. so driving me crazy.

Good morning,

The procedure is below.

Once you have the spacer out, you should be able to sneak the belt through the opening.

Can you post a picture of what you see?

REMOVAL
1. Raise the vehicle.
2. Remove the right-hand splash shield.
3. Remove the connector from the crank sensor. Refer to Engine Mount in order to remove the following components:
a. The engine mounting bracket lower nut.
b. The engine mounting bracket lower stud.
c. The engine mounting bracket lower spacer.
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Remove the belt(s).

Here is what I confused on: needs to go under motor mount but over supercharged bracket, no matter what every time I get it water pump the belt goes the that supercharger brace, it has to go over it.

That is one of the older models.

The lower bracket has to be removed to change the belt. The newer ones hav an area that you can sneak the belt out.

Wow! So need to take space and remove bracket just put a new belt in? Stupid setup, glad I didn’t break on the road!

I understand. Remember, engineers have never had to do any repair job on a car. They just design them. We have to deal with their designs.

So got spacer out and take other torx head screw out from top? So that motor mount is off the engine and snake belt through?
